The Belega Layang-Layang Club (Balac) is once again holding the Gianyar Kite Festival 2025, which will take place on Sunday, 17 August 2025, coinciding with the 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, at Masceti Beach, Medahan Village, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar.
Now in its 12th year, the festival will feature competition for the Gianyar Regent’s Cup and serves as a prestigious event for kite art enthusiasts in Bali. The Committee Chair, Koming Elen, stated that the event aims to preserve the nation’s cultural arts, particularly Balinese culture, while also providing a platform for younger generations to express their interests and talents in the fields of art and culture.
